Community Care Worker

You will be supporting our clients to live independently at home

Main duties in job role;

*Personal Care- Assisting washing/bathing/showering/grooming/dressing and undressing and all aspects of personal care

*Healthcare- Monitering well being/Assisting with medication/communicating with other professionals involved

*Dietary Care- Preparation of meals/snacks/drinks, any special dietary requirements

*Social Calls- Providing companionship

*Shopping/Cleaning calls- Assisting with shopping and weekly chores

We are recruiting Care Assistants to join our friendly team at Bosworth Homecare in the Ilkeston area.

We are looking for Part and full Time Care Staff to work flexible hours in the community. Must be able to work weekends, either part of a weekend or alternate weekends.

You must be Reliable, Trustworthy and Caring, making a difference in the community.

We have full time and part time positions available. We offer various shifts of working hours and will work with you to try and suit any commitments outside of work. We employ experienced, non experienced staff and bank workers.

Rates of pay are from £8.50 – £9.15 per hour

Plus an additional payment for mileage and a contribution towards travel time.

Bank Holiday hourly rate £13.80 – £14.10

You will be enrolled in the company pension scheme after 3 months.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Experience is not essential as full training will be provided, along with continious mentoring and support. You will also have the option of gaining a Diploma in Health and Social Care up to level 3 or certified short courses whilst working out in the community gaining seperate certificates.
All applicants will have to undergo an enhanced DBS check and must be able to provide satisfactory references.
